Making phone calls is the best form of Gandhigiri at this moment
Why not do a flower campaign or the like, that we did last time? Clearly that worked and the phone campaign doesnt "have the appearance" of working. I am not saying it is not working, it just isint having the same media impact as last time. It doesnt have to be the flower campaign again, heck we can do a fruit basket deal this time.
Our message should be "Please stop punishing people that came here the right way, in order to help the people that did not". We are not against undocumented workers getting amnesty, we just dont want their issues to hold up everyone else's.

How does one become a "Donor". I have donated to IV SEVERAL times in the past.

What is the visa or immigration status of a person who has H4 visa and 485 pending (has EAD also)?
It seems banks do not understand anything other than Citizenship, GC or H status.
(1)EAD is NOT a status. Your status should be AOS, or H1B, L1, TN or whatever.
(2) I personally know more than a dozen people (including myself) who hgot mortgages, and this was not even an issue.
(3) You have a horse's ass for a lender. Just go to another bank. Countrywide is quite good, in my opinion. Go directly to them, not through a broker.

Thanks for your reply. Infact I talked to the manager(Supervisor) at two DMV locations in Houston TX. First one only told me about this rule. At second place, since I insisted they showed me the rule in writing. I also expressed my frustration asking what kind of rule is this? They just washed hands saying they didn't make the rule and put the blame on texas legislature and parliament! Anyways will try your written rejection letter option.

I have read online that S-corp is better than LLC. Is that true?
Below is some info that I have collected:

Under C- corp - it is like investing in the stock market. It will show that you have invested in a company stock and that company has paid you dividends. Period. I received the rfe details today..Here is my list of documents needed by uscis
1) updated properly completed form G-325A
2) employment letter from my new employer to prove that i am working on the same/similar job as my LC (since I did not submit AC21 documents), I need to do it now, since I changed my address and the letter mentions that I am not staying in the same state as of my original LC and now they require AC21 documents.

I am just trying to guess when they may come to my case. My receipt date for 485 was from Vermont and is 7/31/07. But then it was transferred back to Texas and this has a Receipt date of 10/1/07. I am just trying to find out which Receipt date will be considered to pre-adjudicate my application.

You are correct, it took around 10 months. From prevailing wage to labor approval. 2 months I mean filing actual labor application to approval.

I read in one of the Ron's post -CHc trying to stop even small immigration bills which has no amesty in it.So even the nurse recapture bill is at stake.
So ,I'm sorry -I beleive no one will even touch our case.Apply in EB2 port PD or get new PD either will be helpful .But seeing new backlog for I 140 its terrible.
I might apply for Canadian GC-Having kids here ,man they are adapted to this country living.That's the only thing bothering - kids future.
So this bill this year is at stake for sure.No one cares ...including change-what change there woudnt be any change in new party too.Its all drama going.I lost the trust.Its as if EB3 is not educated.
I'm just wondering-Will this problem be there if it were for ROW-or is it our color...that they dont want to aid.It's sure racism.
How many EB3 are there in total...Who asked them to flood the applications last year? :mad:
Its bloody hell out here.no wonder some people become saddist later half ...who woudnt when they are treated like this from begginning.

Not sure if something is cooking at USCIS, last week an USCIS office called my attroney to get clarification on why we (my wife and I) are residing at separate addresses. We are in the process of relocation (company moved), my wife chose to continue her employment while she's searching for opportunities in the new location. The officer stated that they are trying to adjudicate the cases ASAP, hence he's inquiring to ensure there isnt any marriage fraud. My attorney responsed back will all the possible evidence to proved we are together.
Has anyone had a similar experience.

USCIS/DOL system is getting sophisticated day by day. I am positive that they must have some triggers in the system that will automatically notify Immigration Officers about suspicious activity.
Now a day�s USCIS is trying to deny as many cases as possible. So, they don�t want to miss any opportunity to deny or investigate your case.
It is not pre adjudication process. It is aggressive denials.

We can write letters, emails, fax, contribute to IV but nothing is gonna help. This is the fact!
Yes. It may help, but EB3 is not the one who is going to get any piece out of it, as EB2 is increasing in huge amount. Even if it is CURRENT for 10 years, thats not going to help anyone below that level as everyone will qualify for EB2 in future, almost all the future candidates will have minimum of 5 years experience.
1. Live with this. Don't come to any forum, don't think about VISA bulletin. Take your Gc when it comes to your doorstep. May be by then, we may not need it. We may be tired of being on the same job and GC may not bring any
motivation to our career.
Well, if one decided to continue the process of waiting, there won't be any career to talk about at the end.
2. Move over to EB2 - If possible, take all the pains of changing job, place of living, unpredictability in PERM queue and I140 queue and move over to EB2. But you never know. One of our Indian brothers might have just won a lawsuit to stop us from moving over!! In that sense, EB3 I is worst than illegals. Least wanted legals in the USA!!
Not possible for all to go to EB2 as most of the companies hesitate to spend huge amount again and same is applicable to the individual too. It may not be worth at the end to spend another 5K on this. Well said, we should then fight with our own friends (because they may not like us to get the Lion's share) before going to DOS and USCIS.

I think you are unnecessarily suspecting her posting. Retrogression kicked in Oct 2005 bulletin. So it is possible for her to apply in Feb 2005. I know for sure some people got their GC with similar priority dates. I think this whole immigration crap is turning everyone into cynical.

pretty soon they will start requiring photos from worksite to prove that employee exists and that the company exists and is present in the US. LOL :D (I think this was a requirement for H1B...may still be a requirement):rolleyes:
