My previous employer filed EB2 labor for me. I left the job after getting 140 approved so that I will hold the priority date.
The new employer, as per their policy is planning to file labor application in EB3 category and NOT in EB2 category.
My question is, the way I post PD from old approved 140, do I port the EB2 category also? ie will my PD get compared with EB2 PD or EB3 PD when it comes to filing 485?

Objective -
- To be on F1, to utilize CPT / OPT.
QUESTIONS -

how to make the camera rotate around your animation. For example, if i had a block and it just spun in circles or something and i wanted that to be my animation, what if i wanted the camera to circle around that, so that i whould have a spinning block

one of my friend (EB2@TSC - India PD 2001) didnt see anything happen after the infopass ... YET

I was working for company A in US till June 2008. I had to return to India in July 2008 due to personal reasons. My 6th yr on H1b expired in October 2008.
I am now in India and applying for 3yrs H1b extension based on my approved I140 with company B. My I485 was filed in august 2007. I do not have US pay stubs since July 2008 as I did not work in US.
Has anybody been in a similar situation? What are the chances of getting approval? Once I get I797 approval, should I expect further challenges in getting visa stamped in India?

Ben Nelson of Nebraska. Reform Republican Tom Coburn had ready an amendment to the defense authorization bill removing Nelson's earmark funding a Nebraska-based company whose officials include Nelson's son. Such an effort became impossible when Reid pulled the bill.
That Reid's action had this effect was mere coincidence. He knew that Sen. Carl Levin's amendment to the defense bill mandating a troop withdrawal from Iraq would fall short of the 60 votes needed to cut off debate, and Reid planned from the start to pull the bill after the all-night session, designed to satisfy antiwar zealots, was completed. But Reid is also working behind the scenes with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to undermine earmark transparency and prevent open debate on spending proposals such as Nelson's.
These antics fit the continuing decline of the Senate, including an unwritten rules change requiring 60 votes to pass any meaningful bill. When I arrived on Capitol Hill 50 years ago, Majority Leader Lyndon Johnson (like Reid today) had a slim Democratic majority and faced a Republican president, but he was not burdened with the 60-vote rule. While Johnson did use chicanery, Reid resorts to brute force that shatters the Senate's facade of civilized discourse. Reid is plotting to strip anti-earmark transparency from the final version of ethics legislation passed by the Senate and House, with tacit support from Republican senators and the GOP leadership.
At stake is the fate of Coburn's "Reid amendment," previously passed by the Senate and so called because it would bar earmarks benefiting a senator's family members such as Reid's four lobbyist sons and son-in-law. Nelson's current $7.5 million earmark for software helps 21st Century Systems Inc. (21CSI), which employs the senator's son, Patrick Nelson, as its marketing director. The company gets 80 percent of its funds from federal grants, mostly through earmarks. With nine offices scattered among states represented by appropriators in Congress, the company has in recent years spent $1.1 million to lobby Congress and $160,000 in congressional campaign contributions. "As of April," the Omaha World-Herald reported, "only one piece of [the company's] software has been used -- to help guard a single Marine camp in Iraq -- and it was no longer in use."
In requesting the 21CSI earmark, Nelson did not disclose his son's employment. "There's no requirement that he disclose that," a Nelson spokesman told this column. "But frankly, in this case, we didn't disclose it because it's so public." (1) I have applied my Labor Certification in February 2003 and It is approved in September 20, 2007. After almost 4 years. Now, my employer is ready to file I-140 by October 10, 2007. I am also in my 7th year of H1-B visa and it is expiring in August 24, 2008. I have heard that you need to have 365 days of time period between Labor Approval and H1-B renewal of VISA for 8th year. If my I-140 is still in pending stage until August 2008, still Will I be able to get my H1-B extension for 8th year? In reality, I am short of 60 days to finish the count of 365 days.
(2) On the other side, I may not have worry as my Labor was filed in year 2003.

We filed two different I485s. One me as Primary, for which I have not received any receipt which reached on July 17th. Another from my husbands employer, me as beneficiary which reached on Aug 13th. We got receipt and FP Notice for one which was applied through my husband's employer. Confusion is that in my receipt notice the Alien Number is different from what I received on my I140 Approval Notice. Is it of any concern? Finally will my husband be able to get EAD from my application?

Good MOrning All I have 2 questions:
1.) My littel sister is living with a Looser for the past 10 teays and he refuse to file for her Residency. So got pregnat last year and now has a baby by him. Is there anything she can do to get her residency in this situation?
2.) I am married to a US citizen. I have a Pending case with USCIS however it has been draging out for too long. I wanted to file for my Residency using my Current marriage. She is a US citizen however dose anyone know if there is a limit or time frame when a US citizen can file for someone else? She was married before and filed for her X-husband residency. Can she file me now without any problem?

My current H1 is valid for 8 more months and I will have 1 more year after that to finish my initial 6 years, that gives me about 1 year 8 months before I exhaust the 6 year limit.
My question is if I change jobs and an H1 transfer is requested right now....will the transferrred H1 be valid for only 8 months ? or will I get a new I797 with 20 months validity? Help if some one knowledgeable about the issue would comment
